Hard Surface Modeling - Creature Sculpt | Sci-Fi Cryo Pod

I worked on this prop for 5 weeks on my Intermediate term at Think Tank Training Centre. We where provided with a concept of a Sci-Fi Cryo Pod and we had to match it the best we could. This assignment was very challenging, specially the camera matching, I had to re-adjust it every week after my amazing supervisor Jianfeng Li's feedback and that meant re-doing some of the pieces to match correctly the camera orientation. However, I am very proud of the result, and all those camera adjustments where worth it! I named the alien Blobby and Blobby Jr. Hope you like it! 🛸 👽
I used Maya and Zbrush to model the asset and the alien, and rendered in V-ray 👾
